Objectives
The Guernsey Chamber of Commerce exists to link together the members of the business community so that they may speak with an authoritative voice on matters concerning trade, commerce and industry in the Island of Guernsey and work together for their mutual benefit to:
Promote and protect the trade, commerce and industry of the island.
Formulate views on States policy, legislation, etc., with the benefit of members` combined knowledge and experience to then communicate these views to the appropriate authorities so that, jointly, members may have greater influence on matters affecting trade, commerce and industry through the unified voice of the Chamber.
Represent the business community on outside bodies, provide services for members.
Provide an opportunity for members of the business community to meet each other and to provide a forum for discussion and exchange of views on relevant subjects.
Provide facilities through the Young Business Group for younger business people to express an opinion in the company of their contemporaries.
The Guernsey Chamber of Commerce is a company limited by guarantee. Incorporated in Guernsey. Registration No. 37792. A copy of the Memorandum and Articles of Association can be obtained from the Chamber Office.
