Membership Benefits
OfficeSupport / Business Advice
Chamber’s office is open from 9.00am to 4.00pm and can offer advice on a wide range of business and daily topical issues.
Internet Web Site
The Chamber website carries details of all Chamber members. When dealing with Guernsey companies, compliance departments in UK and foreign jurisdictions often expect any business of substance to be a member of its local Chamber of Commerce. A website check is a common item on compliance checklists. Indeed the absence of an entry can raise suspicions and may preclude a company from business opportunities.
Promoting Members Business Interests
The Chamber of Commerce provides a respected forum for members to lobby government on a wide range of issues. The Chamber Council meets monthly to review the coming States Billet and other key issues. The Executive Committee ensures that Chamber’s work is carried out according to Council directives. Sub-committees shadow the work of the States departments with whom we have a good working relationship. Various representations are made on behalf of members on issues such as the Urban and Rural Area Plans, airport developments, waste management issues etc.
Annual Members Directory
This valuable office directory of all Chamber members and their details is updated annually. The classified section is extremely useful in searching for those companies in a specific category. The directory also provides an update of Chamber history with details and reports of Chamber activities.

World Wide Trade Contacts
