Move to offer free pre-school places
All Guernsey children could get free pre-school education, if a 1.9m proposal is approved.

Chamber Lunch

The Chamber Lunch is held on the third Monday of each month in the Regency Room of the OGH Hotel, 12.15 for a 12.30pm start by the guest speaker followed by a 2 course lunch with a glass of wine, after which the speaker is back for Q&A's aiming to finish by 2pm. 

This month's will include a presentation entitled:

 “The Role of IT in Future Education”

One of the great challenges today is how teachers can educate the future generation when technology is moving so quickly. Barry Dickson, Head of Business, Education Systems and Technologies in the Education Department, and Simon Barrett, Education officer for ICT, and a past IT entrepreneur, will be explaining how education will be addressing this major issue.
