The Chamber Lunch is held on the third Monday of each month at the OGH Hotel, 12.15 for a 12.30pm start by the guest speaker followed by a 2 course lunch with a glass of wine, after which the speaker is back for Q&A's aiming to finish by 2pm.  We have a range of interesting and topical speakers through the year and these events are ideal for networking or corporate entertaining as places can be reserved on an individual basis or a group booking.

April Chamber Lunch

“Market Moves and Megatrends”

The Guernsey Chamber of Commerce is delighted to welcome Toby Birch as our guest speaker at the Chamber Lunch this month.  Toby describes himself as an Author, Public Speaker and Strategic Investment Adviser.  He established Guernsey Gold to take advantage of the surge in precious metals in 2006.  Toby is regular on the conference circuits and we look forward to his talk on Macro trends based on the five P’s namely; Population, Production (food), Politics (not local), Patterns (weather) and Pollution.  We look forward to what should be an interesting talk.

Rupert Dorey , President of the Chamber of Commerce says "Toby wrote a prescient book  called "The Final Crash" about the impending economic downturn in 2007, a year before global economies fell off a cliff. For this alone he is worth listening to. Toby has some far reaching strategic observations about the future of the global economy , and in particular Guernsey's place in it. .........Toby is as entertaining as he is informative, and we look forward to seeing you at the lunch

The lunch will be held in the Regency Room of the OGH Hotel, at 12.15 for 12.30pm on Monday 15th April.  Bookings for individual places, tables or half tables can be made with the Chamber Office by downloading the  booking form and returning it to anne.richardson@guernseychamber.com

You may be interested to know that our speaker at our next Chamber lunch has been asked to appear on  BBC1 this Sunday (7th April) at 10am for The Big Questions debate on alternatives to mainstream banking.
