Help Eradicate Polio – Purple Pinkie Day Friday 2nd March

Purple4Polio day is being supported by Guernsey Rotary next Friday (2nd March) as part of its broad efforts to help eradicate polio around the globe.

You can help by taking part and showing your purple support (even a painted nail counts!) and raising funds for the End Polio Now campaign.

Polio has been successfully eradicated in 122 countries and exists now in only three. With your help, these can be helped. The cost of the vaccine is just 20p per dose. Please send any monies raised to Rotary Club of Guernsey End Polio Now, c/o Janine Birtwhistle, Gainsborough Lodge, Rue du Gains, St Peter’s GY7 9BS. Every £1 raised by Rotary is trebled by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
